An acoustic duo or trio is the smallest live band you can book, and often the right one. Two or three musicians need little space, play at a level guests can talk over, and still sound like a band. Duo and trio line-ups
Voice and acoustic guitar. The classic acoustic pop duo. Pop and top 40 covers, indie, rock and classics with two voices and one guitar.
Saxophone and piano. Warm and elegant for a cocktail hour or a corporate reception.
Guitar and percussion. A light rhythm that suits a beach terrace or a garden party.

When a duo or trio is the right choice
- Smaller guest lists. Up to about 60 guests, a duo needs only one small speaker and no stage.
- Background music. Dinners, receptions and brunches where people want to talk.
- Tight spaces. Yachts, restaurant corners, majlis tents and villa terraces.

Make it yours
Send a few songs you love and any song for a special moment, such as a proposal, a cake or a toast. A song the duo does not already play needs a few weeks to rehearse. Songs can be in English, Arabic and other languages.
What to check with the venue
- A power socket near the spot where the duo plays.
- Shade or cover for outdoor sets in the warmer months.
- Any volume rule, especially at villas, compounds and beach clubs.
